Even though the art of tattooing has been around for centuries, there still aren’t many formal schools that teach it. Traditionally, tattoo artists learn their skill by being an apprentice for an established artist. Whether you find a trade school to go to or decide to apprentice, you’re going to need to have raw talent first and foremost.

Once you’ve determined that you might have that, you should be able to decide if you have the necessary talent to enroll in a school or find tattoo artists for an apprenticeship. If the latter, make sure you find one that is right for you, someone you feel you can learn from who is willing and able to teach and lead. Once you’ve done that, learn all you can from your mentor, hone your skills, and continue learning elsewhere as well. Eventually you’ll progress into a full fledged tattoo artist in your own right.

Tattoo cover up ideas sounds like a hassle. Tattoo cover ups are not like removing the whole tattoo where medical care is needed. The most common three ways to cover up a tattoo are: change the color of the current tattoo, paint an entirely new picture over the old tattoo, and color over the old tattoo before adding a new tattoo over it.

If you change the color of your current tattoo then those stale outlines will become invisible. The color will make your tattoo look as good as new. Putting an entirely new picture over your old tattoo can be rewarding but tricky. You must make sure you choose a second tattoo that covers the old one in space. The color should be darker than the old tattoo, and you should be sure you want to keep this present tattoo. Coloring over the old tattoo and then placing a picture over the color makes the old tattoo appear as if it were never there at all.
